Overview of the NATA Exam Preparation course:

Zabeel International is conducting NATA classes in association with House of Architects. The National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is a qualifying examination conducted by the National Institute of Advanced Studies in Architecture (NIASA), which is a body of the Council of Architecture in India for architecture students. It is mandatory to have NATA score for joining B.Arch. course in any college in India. NATA Exam Preparation Training Course offered by Zabeel Institute will help you to achieve high scores in NATA exam.

NATA is a useful examination that measures the aptitude of the applicant for a specific field of study, i.e. architecture. The test also measures drawing and observation skills, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity and critical thinking ability that have been acquired over a long period of time, and that is related to the specific field of study, i.e. architecture.

About Awarding Body:

Council of Architecture, India.

The Council of Architecture (COA) has been constituted by the Government of India under the provisions of the Architects Act, 1972, enacted by the Parliament of India, which came into force on 1st September, 1972. The Act provides for registration of Architects, standards of education, recognized qualifications and standards of practice to be complied with by the practicing architects. The Council of Architecture is charged with the responsibility to regulate the education and practice of profession throughout India besides maintaining the register of architects. For this purpose, the Government of India has framed Rules and Council of Architecture has framed Regulations as provided for in the Architects Act, with the approval of Government of India.

Eligibility:

• The candidates who have passed their 10+2 or equivalent exam are eligible.
• Those who have passed 10+3 Diploma in any stream recognized by Central/ State Government can apply too.
• The applicants who have passed the International Baccalaureate Diploma passed after 10 years of schooling are also eligible.
• The appearing candidates can apply too.

Examination Pattern:

The exam pattern for NATA 2020 is given below:

• Mode of exam: Online
• Duration of test: 180 minutes
• Type of questions: Part A- MCQ and Part B- Drawing on A4 size drawing sheets.
• Total marks: 200
• Marking scheme: Each question of Part A will carry 2 marks and each question of Part B will carry 40 marks. There will be no negative marking.

Exam Centre’s for NATA:

NATA has Exam Centre in Dubai and in many locations in India. Those opting for Dubai as their first choice of Exam city need to fill up two more choices mandatory. Candidates choosing exam centre in Dubai as per their first choice shall be liable to pay an additional fee of INR 8000/- per candidate during the application process.
